So many websites tout the importance of the dealer's cost of a vehicle. It's all bogus!
To show you how meaningless that cost is, walk into a Mini dealership and offer the dealer $1,000 over invoice. You'll be laughed out of the place.
Now walk into your local Honda dealership and offer $1,000 below invoice on a Honda Civic. They'll have you sign on the dotted line faster than you can say just kidding!
Not only is the dealer's invoice price not their true cost, it is downright irrelevant for determining the secret price.
